1940s Pink Parachute Silk Peignoir

WWII era real parachute that has been over-dyed and sewn into a peignoir. An incredible piece of history! The silk is so light-weight and soft. It has the most beautiful movement when in the wind. Peignoir are traditionally for boudoir but I like to wear them as formal dresses with a slip, pants, or shorts.

Sizing notes: This garment is not intended to fit tightly, it should fit loose, if taught you could rip it. It is modeled on a size 0, it is very loose on me but in a way I'd still consider wearable. I have seen in on a size 4 and it looked just as lovely. There is no pinning in the pictures.
Measurements:
- Waist: measures 29 in; I'd say up to 28 in
- Bust: max 42 in; 34 in - 40 in comfortably
- Sleeve length put to hem: 20
- Length: 54
- Estimated size: One size fits a few. I'd estimate people between the size xs and medium would fit. Double check measurements above before purchasing.
